Printed Foam Tiles – Wood Effect & Kids Prints 12 mm

Our printed foam tiles combine the softness of EVA foam with a printed top layer. Choose a natural wood look for living areas and offices, or a colourful print for playrooms, crèches and classrooms. We supply them to schools, crèches, play centres, interior decorators and homeowners across South Africa.

Every tile is 60 x 60 cm and 12 mm thick. In addition, the puzzle edges lock together without glue or tools, so you can lay a soft floor in minutes. Each set contains 4 tiles and 8 edging pieces and covers 1.45 m².

Wood look foam tiles

The four wood designs give a warm wooden look, but with a soft and quiet foam floor. For this reason, customers use these wood grain foam mats in living rooms, bedrooms, offices, waiting areas and exhibition stands. They are also popular in playrooms and home gyms, because the floor looks calm and natural. Choose white wood for a light, Scandinavian look, or dark brown wood for a classic wooden floor. Please note that the wood look is printed: the tiles contain no real wood.

Printed foam tiles for kids’ playrooms

The grass, ocean, animals & trees and pink & flowers prints turn a floor into a play landscape. Therefore, crèches, nursery schools and play centres use them to create themed corners and reading areas. Children sit, crawl and play on a soft and warm surface instead of cold tiles or concrete. The grass print is especially popular: it makes an indoor grass play mat that stays clean and dry.

How many sets of printed foam tiles do you need?

One set covers 1.45 m². So divide your floor area by 1.45 and round up. For example, a playroom of 3 x 4 m (12 m²) needs 9 sets. You can also combine designs, for instance a grass floor with an ocean border. Please note that we supply complete sets only and do not cut tiles to size.

Laying and cleaning

Start in a corner and press the puzzle edges together, row by row. Then click the edging pieces onto the open sides. To clean the tiles, sweep or vacuum them and wipe them with a damp cloth and a mild soap. Because each tile lifts out on its own, you can also replace a worn tile later.

Not for heavy gym or martial arts use

Printed foam tiles are made for play, comfort and decoration. However, they are not designed for heavy weights or throws. For martial arts, choose our EVA tatami mats. For a yoga or mindfullness area at home, see our EVA foam mats in 12 and 25 mm.

Frequently asked questions about printed foam tiles

Are the wood effect foam tiles made of real wood?

No. They are EVA foam tiles with a printed wood grain. As a result, they are softer, warmer and lighter than a real wood floor.

Is the grass foam mat artificial grass?

No. It is a flat EVA foam tile with a printed grass pattern, made for indoor use. For outdoor areas, see our outdoor and playground flooring.

Can I mix different designs?

Yes. All printed foam tiles have the same size and thickness, so they lock together. For example, you can combine wood with grass or ocean.

Are printed foam tiles suitable for a baby’s playroom?

Do the tiles come with edging?

Yes. Every set includes 8 edging pieces, so the outer sides of your floor are straight and neat.
