Rubber United supplies Multi-Purpose Anti-Slip Floor Tiles for wet areas, workshops, sports facilities, patios and walkways. These polypropylene tiles form part of our Plastic Floor Tiles range.

The raised open-grid surface provides extra grip underfoot. It also allows water, dirt and small debris to pass through the tile. As a result, the walking surface stays clearer in wet or frequently cleaned areas.

The modular connectors click together without glue. Therefore, you can install the floor quickly. You can also replace individual tiles or extend the floor later.

Choose from grey, blue, red, green and yellow. We normally keep the tiles in stock. We supply the tiles in boxes of 15, while the grey edging and corner pieces are available per piece.

Anti-Slip Floor Tiles for Wet and Busy Areas

These anti-slip floor tiles suit spaces where water, dirt or regular cleaning may make a floor slippery. The raised profile provides more grip, while the openings allow water to move through the surface.

Common applications include:

  • Wet areas
  • Changing rooms
  • Sports clubs and canteens
  • Poolside areas
  • Workshops
  • Patios and balconies
  • Garden paths and walkways
  • Storage and utility areas
  • Commercial workspaces
  • Exhibition and recreational areas

The supporting floor must still be clean, stable and level. In addition, wet areas need suitable drainage below the tiles.

Multi-Sport Court Tiles for Recreational Spaces

You can also use these tiles as multi-sport court tiles in recreational areas. They suit schools, sports clubs, community centres and other facilities that need a modular sports surface.

The open structure allows rainwater and cleaning water to pass through the floor. In addition, the different colours help you create walkways, activity zones and boundary areas.

These tiles suit recreational multi-sports use. Confirm any specific performance or certification requirements before using them for professional competition surfaces.

Why Choose Interlocking Anti-Slip Floor Tiles?

Modular Interlocking Floor Tile System

Each tile has built-in connectors. First, align the connectors. Then press the tiles firmly together.

You do not normally need glue or specialist tools. This speeds up installation. It also allows you to replace one tile without removing the complete floor.

Raised Anti-Slip Surface

The textured profile provides additional grip underfoot. Therefore, the tiles work well in wet, busy or frequently cleaned areas.

However, the tiles do not replace proper site drainage or normal safety procedures.

Open-Grid Drainage Design

The open-grid structure allows water, loose dirt and small debris to pass through the tile. As a result, the upper surface stays clearer and can dry faster.

Always make sure that the supporting floor can drain water correctly.

UV-, Weather- and Chemical-Resistant PP Tiles

The polypropylene material resists UV exposure and changing weather conditions. It also resists chemicals, oils and salts.

Therefore, you can use the tiles in many indoor and outdoor locations.

Easy-to-Clean Modular Flooring

Sweep, vacuum or rinse the tiles when required. You can also lift individual sections when the supporting floor needs deeper cleaning.

After cleaning, reconnect the tiles without replacing the complete floor.

Create Walkways and Colour-Coded Zones

Use one colour for a uniform floor. Alternatively, combine several colours to create:

  • Walkways
  • Activity areas
  • Work zones
  • Borders
  • Safety markings
  • Recreational sports zones

Anti-Slip Floor Tile Colours

The Multi-Purpose Anti-Slip Floor Tiles are available in:

  • Grey
  • Blue
  • Red
  • Green
  • Yellow

Grey, blue and red suit uniform commercial floors. Meanwhile, green and yellow can help mark walkways, recreational areas and safety zones.

Customers who need black tiles or a larger tile format can view our Garage Floor Tiles.

Grey Edging for Anti-Slip Floor Tiles

We supply matching side edging and corner pieces for the grey tiles.

The edging creates a smoother transition between the existing floor and the raised tile surface. Therefore, it gives the floor a neater finish and helps reduce trip hazards along exposed sides.

Available finishing pieces include:

  • Grey side edging, 340 × 60 mm
  • Grey corner pieces, 60 × 60 mm

We supply the edging and corner pieces individually. Plan the floor layout before ordering so that you can calculate the required quantity.

How to Install Interlocking Anti-Slip Floor Tiles

  1. Check that the existing floor is clean, dry, stable and level.
  2. Remove loose dust, dirt and debris.
  3. Start in a corner or along a fixed straight line.
  4. Place every tile in the same direction.
  5. Align the connectors and press the tiles firmly together.
  6. Continue row by row and check the alignment regularly.
  7. Finish exposed sides with grey edging and corner pieces where required.

You do not normally need adhesive for a standard loose-lay installation. However, always check that the supporting floor suits the intended application.

Cleaning and Maintaining PP Floor Tiles

Regular cleaning helps maintain the grip and appearance of the floor.

  • Sweep or vacuum loose dirt.
  • Rinse the tiles with clean water.
  • Use a mild cleaning product when necessary.
  • Allow the tiles and supporting floor to drain and dry.
  • Lift individual sections when deeper cleaning is required.

Always check that the selected cleaning product is suitable for polypropylene.
